Secure use of TikTok Business API
This page documents how SoftCode Piotr Nowacki uses TikTok Business API only for authorized business accounts and only for requested e-commerce, customer service and social commerce workflows.
We do not scrape public TikTok data, resell TikTok data, or access accounts without authorization.
Access is granted only by the business customer and can be revoked by the customer according to TikTok’s authorization process.
Purpose of this page
SoftCode Piotr Nowacki provides custom automation systems for small and medium e-commerce businesses in Poland and the European market. This page describes how we plan to use TikTok Business API in systems built for authorized merchants.
Intended use of TikTok Business API
We use TikTok Business API only for TikTok Business accounts that explicitly authorize our application. Our tools help merchants manage social commerce and operational workflows connected with their own TikTok Business activity.
Typical use cases include:
- TikTok LIVE sales support and comment monitoring.
- Product code recognition in comments and customer interactions.
- Customer registration checks and routing customers to the merchant’s own checkout or e-commerce system.
- Customer service automation for authorized business accounts.
- Reporting and workflow monitoring for the merchant’s own business operations.
Authorization and account access
We do not access TikTok accounts without authorization. A business customer must explicitly connect and authorize their TikTok Business account before our system can process any account-related data.
The customer can revoke access according to TikTok’s authorization and app management process. If access is revoked, we stop using that integration for the related automation workflow.
Data we may process
Depending on the permissions granted by the customer and the approved scope of our application, we may process data required to provide the requested automation service.
This may include:
- Basic TikTok Business account information made available through authorized API access.
- Public profile information and account metadata required to identify the authorized account.
- Comments, messages, LIVE-related interactions or other engagement data if the customer enables workflows that require it.
- Video, content, campaign or reporting data only when required for the customer’s requested workflow.
- Technical logs required for security, debugging and operational reliability.
How the data is used
Data obtained through TikTok Business API is used only to support the merchant’s own sales, customer service, reporting and operational workflows.
We do not:
- Scrape public TikTok data.
- Resell TikTok data.
- Use TikTok data for unrelated advertising or profiling purposes.
- Access accounts without explicit authorization.
- Share TikTok data with unauthorized third parties.
Data storage and security
We store only the data required to provide the requested automation workflow. Access to stored integration data is limited to authorized technical operations and customer support activities.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect integration data, including restricted access, secure infrastructure, and operational monitoring of automation workflows.
Data deletion and access removal
A customer may request removal of stored integration data related to their TikTok Business account. We also remove or disable integration data when it is no longer needed for the requested service or when the customer ends the service relationship.
